Tango TM is a new selection of mandarin that is truly seedless and easy to peel. The trees are sterile, so even if bees pollinate their flowers seeds do not develop. Added to this the unique flavor, attractive deep-orange colour and high juice content set them apart from competitors. “It‘s probably the best piece of fruit that’s come along for years for citrus growers,”said Ted Batkin, president of the California Citrus Research Board. Tango TM is a mid-late season fruit that matures during the period from late June to August in the Southern hemisphere.
